Documents Required for a New Passport

To get a fresh passport you need to furnish proof of address, proof of date of birth and proof of non-ECR*(previously ECNR).

Address Proof – To issue a new Passport

• Utility Bills – Water Bill, Landline/Postpaid Mobile Bill, Electricity Bill or Proof of Gas Connection
• Income Tax Assesment Order
• Voter ID Card or Election Commission Photo ID Card
• Aadhaar Card
• Rent Agreement
• Passport Copy of Spouse(1^st & Last page copies, should list the applicant as spouse and the current address should be same as the address on passport)
